Taught by anointed and experienced pastors and teachers, the first year focuses on building a solid foundation of the Word program and renewing your mind to the Gospel truths of Jesus Christ. Discover who God really is, and who YOU really are in Him! The First Year is offered in both Day, Night, Saturday School sessions at our main campus in Kampala. You can also cover our first year using our Online School program.
The focus at Charis Bible College is not only to teach the truth but also to encourage its application to life. For this reason, students enrolled in the First Year are required to serve twenty-five hours per term in local ministries or ‘ministry hours’ within Charis as part of their training. Charis students are encouraged to step out into ministry and, in doing so, learn how to operate as the body of Christ.
Upon satisfactorily finishing this program students will each receive a Certificate of Completion. Students must receive this certificate to qualify for enrollment into the Second Year.
